Cool Under Pressure

I may not always be graceful when we're running late and I'm trying to juggle a purse, a diaper bag, a hot latte, my broken car keys and all the assorted other junk I cart around every day, but apparently I can Keep It Together when things go really wrong.

The first day of summer (and Father's Day) saw the toddler off to a great start - covered in strawberry juice, he managed to poke himself in the eye with a stick AND acquire 5 wasp stings. Within the space of about half an hour.

Thank goodness for children's Benadryl, baking soda, and chocolate chips.

Oh, and of course, Thomas the Tank Engine on DVD. He makes just about anything better.
