On mesorah...
Over at DovBear's, Bray is arguing about mesorah. XGH has deleted all his old posts, so for the benefit of argument, I'm putting his great illustrations back up here. They are insightful, and also pretty darn funny.

Lol! Tales of my childhood.
When I was young, we didn't have any drawings to go with it. Aliyas hadoros.
Someone should publish XGH's illustrations as a comic strip.
This is great stuff! It makes me really sorry I didn't see it all the first time it was up.
