The Cat Reflects on Sukkot
Our cats have been spending a lot of time in the sukkah lately. I'm under the impression that they think we built it for them, as a cool outdoor kitty club hangout. But generally, they think pretty much everything we do (except using the vacuum cleaner) is for their benefit, so that's a safe guess.

As a fellow person who is owned by a cat, I understand. The sukkah is something new in their space, so they will definitely spend a lot of time checking it out. My cat does the same thing anytime I change something.

The term state of denial comes to mind.

I love doing that, looking up at the sky in the succah at night.
